The university Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Advanced Engineering Works in the presence of Prof. Awad Saad Hassan, vice chancellor of the university , Prof. Mahdi Abbas Shkak, deputy vice chancellor of the university, Dr. AlFatih Ahmed Hassan, principal of the university, Dr. Qrrad Fadlallah Kateik Arkin, Dean of the College of Architecture and Planning, Dr. Salah Gassim, deputy dean for administrative affairs of college of engineering and Ms. Nihad Abdul-Muttalib Ahmed Ibrahim, Director General of the Advanced Engineering Works Company Ltd. and the accompanying delegation.
Prof. Awad Saad Hassan signed for the university, while Ms. Nihad Abdul-Muttalib Ahmed Ibrahim signed for the Advanced Engineering Works Company. The two parties also agreed on joint cooperation in the fields of development and quality in all engineering services and others, addition to cooperation in the framework of scientific research and technology transfer, especially scientific research that is applicable in solving many problems and issues, in addition to studies and consultations in low-cost construction, technology modernization and development and engineering consultations.
Prof. Awad Saad Hassan welcomed the company delegation and expressed his happiness with the signing of the memorandum of understanding, explaining that the university has partnerships with the public and private sectors in the fields of training, graduate studies and research, as the university believes in the need to change concepts and keep pace with the development. Whoever proves his worth to work for the company, in addition to informing students of everything new in the fields of work of the company that belongs to the defense industries system and works in multiple fields, most notably engineering, agricultural, business administration and arts
Furthermore, Prof. A Hassan stressed the university's readiness to provide management training to the company's employees through the training centers available at the university, in addition to providing the required consultations.
Finally, Dr. Mariam Abbas Ibrahim Abdelghafour, manager of External Relations Administration Office, presented a presentation on the university, its development and its inclusion of 25 colleges and more than 75 thousand students at the level of undergraduate and postgraduate studies and its close relations with universities inside and outside Sudan, in addition to its relations with institutions in various fields, especially industrial.
